Starting research

• Hazard Inventory - for all employees potentially exposed to hazards.
• General Laboratory Safety Record-keeping (PDF) - list of required records to be retained by laboratory supervisors.
• Laboratory Check-in Form (PDF) - complete before starting work in a laboratory.
• EH&S Research Support Checklist (PDF) - to assist research personnel in achieving a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.
• Laboratory Move Guidelines (PDF) - for the safe and efficient relocation of your laboratory.
• Laboratory Clean-up Checklist (PDF) - for routine laboratory cleaning.
• Chemical Spill Kit List (PDF) - chemical spill kit contents.

Ending research

• Laboratory Check-out Form (PDF) - completed by researchers leaving ISU.
• Laboratory Move Guidelines (PDF) - for the safe and efficient relocation of your laboratory.
• Chemical Redistribution Program - consider donating unopened chemicals for redistribution rather than disposal.
• Laboratory Equipment Disposal Program - for removing unwanted equipment from your laboratory.
• Waste Removal Instructions - submit unwanted chemicals for EH&S pickup. Do not leave materials behind in your laboratory without departmental approval.
