Respirator Recertification

Recertification respirator training is given to all university employees and students who have completed the initial respirator class and are currently using respirators. This course, an annual requirement of Iowa State University Respiratory Protection Program, reviews correct respirator usage and care, and includes a respirator fit test. The fit test ensures that the participant continues to have a proper fit with their current respirator.

Participants must be clean-shaven in order to be fit-tested.
