CPR, AED & First Aid Training

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), AED & First Aid is a recommended course. This class is designed for participants to learn and be certified in Adult and Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) by the American Heart Association. Topics include: breathing and cardiac emergencies; identifying and caring for bleeding; caring for sudden illness and injuries; preventing disease transmission; and AED training. This course also serves as a recertification course for CPR and First Aid.

Snacks, beverages, and lunch are not provided, participants are responsbile for these items.

Payment is completed through FAMIS and will require you to provide worktag information to ehstrain@iastate.edu. This will not be billed until after the session has finished. If you need to cancel your registration, you must request a refund no later than 5 business days before the training or you will still be charged. EH&S reserves the right to cancel the course due to low enrollment. If there are less than 6 people enrolled 5 business days prior to the class date, the class may be cancelled. You will be given the option to enroll in another section at a later date.

Parking - there is a $5.00 fee to park if you do not have a current ISU parking permit. If you plan to drive, please ensure your vehicle has the current parking permit displayed. EH&S does not issue visitor parking permits. If you do not have a current ISU parking permit, you can park in a metered space and pay to park.
